Family History Research Book Package
These packages investigate the direct surname line or lines from the early 20th century as far back as parish records allow (1500s/1600s) . If difficulties are encountered in the 19th century on any line the research will be expanded to include other ancestral lines. Prices start from £1250.

Investigate the direct surname line or lines from the early 20th century back to the early 1800s/late 1700s. Prices start from £500.
Payment for these packages can be made in interest free instalments spread over 2 -12 months. Choose to investigate, one, two or four lines of your ancestry.
What Will I Receive?
- A detailed, hardbacked book containing the story of your family history
- Family photos, documents, stories & memories can be included in the book to personalise your family story
- All copies of census returns will be included together with full transcriptions
- Copies of all civil registration certificates necessary for tracing your family tree
- Copies of any other records found such as military papers
- A large scale printed pedigree (family tree) chart
The standard finish of the book is a matt photo cover or plain, titled cover.
Your own family stories, memories and information from more recent generations can be included but 20th century research can be limited as to what sources are available. This can differ from family to family and can be discussed in more detail. If you have a specific family story you wish to be investigated please let me know when ordering.
Extra copies of the book for family members can be purchased for a small fee at the end of the project.

Research
Firstly, your chosen surname line, or lines, will be researched as far back as possible using civil registration, armed service records, parish registers, newspapers, wills, poor law records, etc. as far as parish records allow. If any difficulties are encountered in the nineteenth century then research will be expanded to include another maternal line.
Writing
The story of your family is then written in a narrative style using the results of the research. If you wish to include details of recent generations or family stories you are welcome to do so. The project focuses on your direct ancestors, therefore, if you have any particular family stories, or relatives of interest, that you wish to be specifically investigated, please highlight this at the time of ordering.
Design
Please provide family photos as soon as possible if you wish these to be included in the book. Images relevant to your family's story, such as areas where your family lived, will be included to help bring your ancestors' lives to life.

Getting Started
To begin the research I need to know what you know already! Any names, dates and places that you can provide regarding yourself, parents and grandparents will be useful. It does not matter how little you have. I have started research from someone's own birth certificate before. Others know beyond their grandparents. Please just ask if you have any questions.
Payment Details
Payment can be made in instalments if you choose these packages, with a deposit taken at time of ordering followed by monthly payments.
Regular updates, including PDFs of work-in-progress on the book, are provided throughout the course of the research to keep you informed.
Deposit payments can be made via PayPal or bank transfer.
These packages are a fixed price so you know exactly how much you will pay from the start. However, customised prices can be provided, for example, if some research work has already been completed on your family tree.
